Originally from Bermuda, Dr. Dan Maguire is excited to be back in Halifax after six years away, bringing his expertise and deep love for animals to the community. With years of veterinary experience, Dr. Dan is dedicated to providing the highest level of care for your pets, ensuring they receive not only the best treatment but also the compassion they deserve.

When he’s not caring for your pets, you can find Dr. Dan running, playing tennis, or hiking with his two dogs – Harley, an energetic Australian Shepherd, and Blondie, a friendly Samoyed who loves adventure. And then there’s Fredrick, his mischievous orange domestic short hair cat, who keeps things interesting at home.

Dr. Dan combines his vast knowledge of veterinary care with a genuine desire to build lasting relationships with both pets and their owners. His approach is centered around trust, transparency, and understanding, making sure every pet feels comfortable and well cared for.
